Like many of the best products, Rumpl was born out of the innovation of need. The creators of the Original Puffy Blanket by Rumpl found themselves in need when their sleeping bags became their lifeline in keeping warm when their car broke down in freezing temperatures. Realizing the gap that lived between outdoor gear and blankets, the Rumpl blanket was born. In addition to the loops that allow the blanket to be anchored down to duel as a lovely picnic blanket, it also has clips to fasten it around your neck to keep you warm and hands-free. We like to think that it’s a blanket turned cape keeping you warm and ready to take on the world.

The Original Puffy blankets are made with a 100% post-consumer recycled polyester shell and insulation or sustainably harvested down. They use 100% fair trade certified down and obtain it as a harm-free by-product of the food industry, meaning that nothing is live-plucked. They are both Responsible Down Standard certified and a Certified B Corp. No matter how you slice it, they’re a company that keeps you cozy all around.
