Brother Vellies uses vegetable-tanned leathers, soling from recycled tires, hand carved wood, floral dyed feathers along with a collection of other by-product materials sourced from farmers across the globe. Aurora James, the owner, is also the founder of 15% Pledge.  Their collection is produced in South Africa, Kenya, Mexico, Morocco, Tehiopoia, Burkina Faso, Italy, Haiti and at home in New York City. All of their prices are assigned based on materials and fair labor.
