Eleven Madison Park
This last year and a half offered Chef Daniel Humm, owner of Eleven Madison Park, the time to reflect on how things have been and how things could be. This Michelin-rated restaurant took their talents and incredible culinary skills and saw a vision for what could be based on their experience of helping provide food for those who are experiencing food insecurity in New York. The pandemic really gave us a glimpse to see how many don’t know from where their next meal will come. Eleven Madison Park responded by seeing this as an on-going need to continue providing help for those in this position while also redirecting the flow of how their own restaurant operated. They took challenge and turned it into opportunity to be better. Delivered by the Eleven Madison Truck, every dinner purchased provides 5 meals to food-insecure New Yorkers. As they say on their website, “It is time to redefine luxury as an experience that serves a higher purpose and maintains a genuine connection to the community.” A plant-based culinary experience that serves both our senses and our planet, Eleven Madison Park re-birthed in a way that secures not only their future, but countless others and our planet. Their restaurant overlooks Madison Square Park, one of the most beautiful parks in Manhattan and sits at the base of a historic Art Deco building on the corner of 24th Street and Madison Avenue. They give us every reason to stop in and dine.
Eleven Madison Park uses plant-based foods, is rethinking the industry, sees the time it takes to ferment as a freedom of creating opportunities. They’re working on developing the tastiest home-made broths, milks, butters and creams all from plant-based ingredients while continuing to bring the luxury and flavor for which they’re known. They are pushing the boundaries of luxurious food in response to the pandemic and we’re here for it.
