Product & Industrial Design - Seljak Brand-8.jpeg

Seljak’s recycled wool blanket not only wraps you in the comfort of its wool, it’s relieving to our planet. Wool Is a natural fiber that can be difficult to replicate. Seljak brings new life to used wood by recycling it. It’s odor and stain resistant, antibacterial, lightweight, breathable and insulating. All the right characteristics to make a cozy blanket while also reducing our waste.

Seljak blankets are made from a minimum of 70% recycled merino or lambswool and a 30% blend of other fivers like mohair, cotton, and alpaca for poly and strength. They source them from factory floor offcuts, deadstock yarn or post-consumer textiles waste like old woolen jumpers. They saw a need and did something about it.
