Le Prunier
Originating from the Caucasus region of Western Asia, plums were known as one of the Superfoods. This area was known as the “Land of Longevity” because of the life span and incredible health of the people who lived there. Le Prunier, “the plum tree” in French, creates skincare made with their own organically grown plums that are harvested and cold-pressed on their family owned, 100-year-old, farm in Sutter County, CA. They knew the incredible benefits dried plums offer and wanted to put it into a skincare for all to enjoy. The next time you need to step into the sun, try protecting yourself with their plumscreen or hydrate after a relaxing shower with their plum oil.
Le Prunier is organic, non-toxic, vegan, and sustainable. The farm is 100% powered by solar energy and has been for the last 10 years. They come to the industry with 20 years of organic farming experience. From beginning to end, Le Prunier’s products are all natural, ethical, and eco-friendly. They are USDA and CCOF organic certified. They also hold certification from PETA and are cruelty-free, vegan, and Halal certified. Their packaging is reusable and recycle while being mostly glass. They up-cycle the plum seeds and use the remaining fruit to be used in juice, dried fruit, and baby food. Nothing goes to waste. When they’ve harvested, instead of using big machine to toil the land, they send out thousands of goats to eat the excess vegetation limiting their carbon footprint. It’s a field day for the goats, literally, and wonderful for the farm.
