Firsthand’s motto “Real Care, Real Good” sets the tone for their company. They offer products for hairstyling, showering, hands, and a combination of them all with their sets and kits. What started off as a small idea in a Boston apartment between two friends, grew into a true mission to take back our personal care to be gentler on us and our environment. This company chooses people before profits and their practices reveal that at every step.

We love a company that takes more time discussing their practices in creating their products than they do selling their products. That’s the true sign of a company making something that helps us and cares for our land.  Firsthand never uses parabens, phthalates, harmful sulfates, synthetic fragrances, toxins, or do any testing on animals. Their website has a complete list of all ingredients used and why they’re used. And they’re keeping plastic out of our landfills in an intentional and effective way. This is a product we can’t wait to lather ourselves in.
