Zero Waste Daniel
Zero Waste Daniel’s approach and vision for his garments creates no by-products. He offers a Buy Back program where you can send in photos of the Zero Waste Daniel garment you have and trade in for another piece. He brings style, personality and confidence to his designs while contributing to a sustainable approach to fashion. The New York Times, Vogue, Forbes, CNN, BuzzFeedNews, PBS and many more publications have taken notice of Zero Waste Daniel’s approach to fashion and sustainability highlighting both his style and methods of creating his clothing. He has also collaborated with brands including Alice + Olivia, Pact, Thred UP, American Express, Goodle, Nissan and locally with the New York City Department of Sanitation. Good design, quality clothing and sustainable methods make a statement all its own and Zero Waste Daniel hit that space with passion.
Zero Waste Daniel creates clothing and accessories by hand in New York City with 100% pre-consumer cutting room scraps, design room waste and leftover materials that would normally go into our landfills. All of Daniel’s clothing pieces are genderless and made to make everyone feel good while bringing “good” into the industry by not adding to the pollution. All pieces are limited editions since they’re made from remnants of materials out of sample factories in New York City, production studios around the United States and his partnerships with brands and fabric recycling non-profits like FabScrap. In his own words: “I don't make work that hurts people, or oppresses people, that makes someone hate their body or their face, or that pollutes someone’s water. I'm willing to work with what we’ve got, I don't care how long it takes, I care that you look good. I care that it's made here, that it’s made fair.”
