Industry of All Nations
We love a company who sees an issue and decides to take steps to figure out how to fix it. Industry of All Nations is a research, design & development office committed to rethinking methods of production for the clothes we put on our bodies. They aim to bring production back to the original makers, people of all the nations. They do this by bringing it back to the original makers through the implementation of indigenous or new manufacturer techniques, keeping it local to the place in which they’re working. Whether you need a new t-shirt, a jacket, sweater, or pair of shorts, Industry has something for you. They know where you spend your dollar can be equally as impactful as where you place your vote and they’re committed to making sure it makes a difference when you spend it with them.
All of the dyes are all natural and their “love each label” shares how many times the garment was dipped to achieve its naturally dyed color. They use organic, recycled, or biodegradable materials and processes. Everything is made at the source and cuts out the middleman. No intermediates or agents and every production is developed and monitored by Industry of all Nations, re-invigorating, re-introducing local ancestral techniques, while adapting to modern ones. Check out their website and see all of the different materials and processes they use. You’ll want to buy a shirt immediately after watching it!
