Christy Dawn leased 24 acres of depleted land in Erode, India for their latest collection. Working directly with the farmers, they replenished “the soil through ancient practices of regeneration and traditional wisdom.  It has increased biodiversity in the soil, leading to drawing down more than 66 tons of carbon from the atmosphere.” Everyone was paid a living wage. Their dresses are made with dead-stock fabrics and organic cotton. They are the true meaning of farm to closet.
