Avre takes plastic bottles and turns them into shoes by using 3-D Knit to shape technology reducing waste by creating a more precise process to build the shoe, reducing excess scraps. Their soles use Bloom Foam Algae. Every insole cleans 28 liters of water and 18 cubic meters of air. Their shoes are machine washable for longer lasting wear. This WOC founded and owned company involved with Oceana & Equality Now, gives 10% of their proceeds to Oceana and Girl in Tech. Every shoe comes with a carbon measured eco-fact. Avre understands the shipping is equally as important and uses recyclable (or recycled), reusable, and compostable packaging. It’s the added pep in their step for us all.
