Escvdo

When fashion meets sustainability, we get excited. This sister-owned company’s collections are inspired by their Peruvian heritage indulging its vast cultural and natural wealth, combining their ancestral textile traditions with premium fibers. They pride themselves on being a contemporary fashion brand that also uses traditional weaving and Peruvian ancestral techniques in the production of their pieces. Their dresses flow on your body in the same natural way they are created. Their style reflects their rich culture, and their clothing is created with the desire to flatter your style and the environment.

All of their collections are sourced and made locally to their headquarters in Lima, Peru. ESCVDO partners with local crafts people in the preservation of traditional sheering and hand spinning techniques. They have full-time, in-house knitters and work with up to 15 weavers, knitters and embroidery specialists. They belong to the Kyuapa Foundation, a non-profit working to reinforce the inherent strengths of Peru’s Andean and Amazonian people, in order to make their future generations and communities stronger. They use organic cotton, palm straw, fair-trade materials, including Alpaca wool sourced from the Peruvian Andes.
